Saunas
From project to implementation
Saunas originated in 12th-century Finland, where they became essential for coping with the harsh climate. Even then, people were beginning to recognize the positive effects of hot, dry air on both physical and mental health. A modern sauna blends design and technology while serving as a powerful wellness ritual.

TYPES OF SAUNAS
Finnish sauna
Since 2019, the Finnish sauna has been recognized on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is distinguished by its dry, intense heat, maintained between 80-110°C—above the dew point—to prevent steam condensation, unlike a Turkish bath.

Bio sauna or climate-controlled sauna
The BIO sauna is a gentler version of the Finnish sauna, combining higher humidity (~45%) with a lower temperature (~65°C). This allows for longer sauna sessions and can be enhanced with aromatherapy using various essential oils.
Salt sauna
Salt saunas have become popular due to their health benefits and appealing aesthetic. The high thermal resistance of Himalayan salt blocks makes them ideal for use in sauna wall cladding. Himalayan crystal salt produces negative ions that enter the bloodstream and help fight free radicals. They also have a relaxing effect, normalising breathing and relieving tension.

NW nobile design saunas
NW nobile design saunas are the result of a collaborative effort between us and the client. They are crafted in the carpentry shop and, depending on the situation, are either fully or partially assembled on-site. Considering the client’s preferences and possibilities, we seamlessly integrate the sauna into the SPA area to create a modern and functional space.
Finishing materials:
- thermo-treated and conventional sauna boards (aspen, alder, cedar, etc.) in different widths and configurations
- for enthusiasts of unique design, we offer special sauna decorative panels, crafted in Austria.

Manufactured modular saunas
Modular saunas are ideal as they typically require no special on-site preparation and are delivered ready for assembly. These solutions provide the client with certainty regarding final costs, deadlines, and help avoid any unforeseen additional expenses. Sustainable materials are used to make the modules durable and long-lasting.
Various finishes are possible.
